Many residents across the region do now feel confined to a small block in a small block-based suburb.
They feel like they have had a considerable part of their standard of living eroded to maintain the profits of developers.
What was once possible in a suburban backyard within their own land is now impossible.
They no longer have sufficient space to create a home veggie patch, in fact, many do even have any un-concreted area within their boundaries, no extra parking either within those boundaries or outside.
These are some of the issues which require the need to retro plan many estates.
Urban Farming & Gardening can become of increasing importance to residents who are assigned less living space & the limited open space around them.
I am not concerned that this Council has tried and failed to make these initiatives work.
